About

Our Production Viewpoint

We believe most event problems are coordination problems. Equipment rarely fails as often as communication between the people running it.

Why this guide exists

ShowMingleRostecl is an independent editorial site for event producers, conference organizers, venue coordinators and technically curious people who commission live production. You often sit between creative ambition and technical suppliers, and you need enough understanding to ask the right questions.

We explain how lighting, LED and projection, sound and streaming depend on each other, using the progression of a real production: planning, system design, rehearsal and show operation.

How we write

Operational, not promotional

We do not sell equipment or accept payment for mentions. Product names appear as common industry examples only.

Standards named, not reinterpreted

We reference standards such as DMX512-A, sACN, BS 7909 and IEC 60118-4 so you can ask suppliers about them, not so you can apply them alone.

Planning separated from qualified work

Every page marks where decisions belong to riggers, electricians, structural engineers or the venue.

What we are not. We are not a production company, rigging contractor or safety consultant. Nothing here replaces a qualified professional, a venue's safety approval or local regulations.
